A Chill Afternoon: 3D Paint Study

Painted textures or Shaders for characters?
Avoiding flat characters is always a challenge. At first, I tried painting colors and values directly onto the character. But I soon realized the key light and shadows need to be handled by the shader so the lighting holds up during camera moves and animation.
It took a lot of back and forth to make sure the painted textures and shader lighting blend naturally. Hopefully this one works!
